Man found shot, killed inside car in Cordova parking lot, SCSO says

CORDOVA, Tenn. - A man was found shot and killed inside a car in a parking lot in Cordova, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said.

He was identified as 18-year-old Antonio Sykes, Jr. of Cordova, SCSO confirmed.

Around 5:40 Friday afternoon, SCSO said, deputies on patrol found a man with a gunshot wound inside a car in a parking lot near the intersection of Berryhill Road and Chimneyrock Boulevard in Cordova. The sheriff's office said the man was pronounced dead at the scene by Shelby County Fire paramedics.
