Human remains found by builders carrying out luxury renovations on a UK home are thought to belong to children.
The "incredibly sad" discovery came after the workmen uncovered human bones buried deep in the cellar , before Crime Scene Investigators swept into the usually quiet Cleveland Road in Lytham, Lancashire. Lancashire Police now say they believe the bones may belong to children, with officers appealing for help in identifying the remains. The force said they are not treating the discovery as suspicious, as they believe they have come from a historic burial ground that once stood in the area, long before the rows of houses and nearby railway line were built.
