Data captured from Spirit flight NK2298 from Philadelphia to San Juan, Puerto Rico appears to show the aircraft flying straight through Hurricane Erin on Monday, Aug. 18.

The day of the trip, flight tracker FlightRadar24 posted a photo of the plane’s path on X . According to the site , the aircraft departed at 1:34 p.m. local time and landed at 5:25 p.m. — nearly 40 minutes after its scheduled arrival.
