BUFFALO, N.Y. — An emergency demolition was requested following a fire that happened Friday night in the City of Buffalo.
Buffalo Fire Department were called around 10:30 p.m. Friday to 113 Forest Ave., southeast of the 198-190 split.
"The building has been deemed a total loss," a City of Buffalo spokesperson told 2 On Your Side late Friday night.
The fire caused an estimated $200,000 to building, but no loss to its contents. The fire also caused damage to two adjacent properties. There was an estimated $80,000 in damages to 117 Forest Ave., and another $10,000 caused at 111 Forest Ave.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
