The Mount Clemens Optimist Club won last weekend’s Service Club disc golf challenge but the big winner was the city’s recreation program.

The Mount Clemens Rotary Club challenged the Optimists, the Mount Clemens Kiwanis Club, the Mount Clemens Lions Club and the Goodfellows to a tournament at Shadyside Park. Each club put in $100. The winning club could choose the charity that received the money from the winners.
