PLYMOUTH TWP. ― Nearing the end of its fourth year, LIV Golf still is striving to be taken seriously ― to be viewed as a legitimate sports outfit. One of the major reasons it’s struggled to gain that credibility is because its tournaments still aren’t recognized by the Official World Golf Ranking.

That’s a problem, because the OWGR appears hesitant to award the points until LIV Golf is taken more seriously.
