(LOOTPRESS) – The Powerball® jackpot has skyrocketed to an estimated $700 million, making it the 11th largest prize in the game’s history and the biggest jackpot in more than a year.
The next drawing is set for Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, with players vying for either a $700 million annuitized prize or a $316 million lump-sum cash option, both before taxes. If taken as an annuity, the prize will be paid in 30 installments over 29 years, with payments increasing 5% annually.
Saturday’s drawing will mark the 36th consecutive draw since the jackpot was last hit in California on May 31, 2025. Despite no jackpot winners, the current cycle has already produced more than 17.3 million winning tickets, including 50 prizes worth $1 million or more and nearly 500 prizes of $50,000 or more.
