An adult male was killed in a Friday night motorcycle crash in Clairton, according to a release from Allegheny County Police.

At 9:51 p.m., police responded to the 500 block of State Street in Clairton on a report of a motorcycle collision with a telephone pole.

The lone rider was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release. The victim’s name has not yet been publicly released.

The Allegheny County Police Department's Homicide Unit and Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and were investigating the incident as of late Friday night.
