BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio —

One person is dead after a crash in Butler County.

It happened Friday around 8:44 p.m. when Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said deputies were called out to the 1900 block of Trenton Oxford Road for a two vehicle crash. Advertisement

The sheriff's office says a preliminary investigation indicates a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Trenton Oxford Road when it collided with a pickup truck that was traveling westbound.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead by life squad personnel at the scene. Their identity has not been released at this time.

This incident remains under investigation by the Butler County Sheriff's Office.
