As shoppers lean towards finding a bargain, charity shops are having a resurgence in popularity in recent years - and they're also getting more donations.
People are handing over their clothes, books and children's toys - though according to the Manchester Evening News , some eyebrow-raising items find their way into the donation bags. While charity shops can often be a great place to find some pre-loved items, there's some that simply can't be sold on.
One worker at an Oxfam store on Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter of Manchester told the outlet said: "We were sorting through the donations and I saw it."
