It will be hot and humid throughout the San Diego area this weekend, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoons.
“High temperatures will remain above average through Monday,” the National Weather Service said. “Greater monsoonal moisture will remain in place through Tuesday … with chances for afternoon and early evening showers and thunderstorms each day, mainly for the mountains and deserts.”
The chance of measurable precipitation is 20% in most areas, rising to nearly 50% in the mountains and deserts.
Coastal areas can expect night and morning low clouds, but it will generally be sunny elsewhere.
