A pilot was hurt when a small plane crashed at Fitchburg Airport Saturday morning.

Fire Chief Dante Suarez said the pilot was attempting to land at the airport on Crawford Street when there was a change in the winds, causing the plane to flip. The aircraft landed upside down.
