One person was killed when a car crashed on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, early Saturday morning.

Massachusetts State police said troopers responded to the crash on I-195 eastbound, near mile marker 21, around 3:30 a.m. First responders had to extricate the driver, who did not survive her injuries. She was identified as Crystal Mullens, 36, of Freetown.

A second person in the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

No other vehicles were involved, according to police. The crash remains under investigation by the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Bristol County State Police Detective Unit.
