Tim Martin leans on a bar at a Wetherspoon pub

The head of Wetherspoon has brought back a menu item following a complaint from a customer about its removal. Adam Gale, a Wetherspoon enthusiast, was disappointed to find that his local pub, the Rodboro Buildings in Guildford, Surrey, had removed the tuna jacket potato from their offerings.

He outlined in a letter addressed directly to Tim Martin, the founder of the pub chain, that other toppings such as beans and cheese were still available. At the Rodboro Buildings, a jacket potato with a side salad and one filling is priced at £7.73 with a soft drink, or £9.26 with an alcoholic beverage.
