Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas and her NDP colleagues are demanding that the Doug Ford government scrap legislation they charge could jeopardize French-language education.

Joining Gelinas in her fight against Bill 33 are Andreane Chenier, the federal NDP candidate for Nickel Belt and trustee for the Grand Nord school board; Chandra Pasma, MPP for Ottawa West–Nepean; AEFO president Gabrielle Lemieux; and Marie-Claude Bisson, president of the executive council of FESFO.
