LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A man has died after Lufkin police responded to a disturbance call early Saturday.
Officers were called to the 900 block of Glenn Street at about 2:30 a.m., according to a release from the Lufkin Police Department.
When they arrived, officers were told one man had been taken to a hospital and another had left the scene. The man at the hospital was treated for stab wounds, but died of his injuries at about 3:15 a.m., police said.
The other person involved was found at a nearby home and questioned by officers, but no arrests have been made yet.
The Texas Rangers are assisting in investigation.
