ZAVALLA, Texas (KTRE) - The City of Zavalla’s search for a water solution continues, and city and state officials are collaborating to find a suitable pump for their water well after two previous attempts failed.

Angelina County Judge Keith Wright said that their next solution is on its way to the city right now. Judge Wright said that he knew how much the people of Zavalla need a solution, and he is working with city officials diligently to get help.

“We know you’re hurting. We know you need help,” Judge Wright said.

Wright has been working closely alongside the City of Zavalla amidst their water crisis, following an almost five-day water shortage. This is largely due to infrastructure issues related to their GUI wells.
