YOUNGSTOWN - A car crashed into the side of a home on the north side of Youngstown early Saturday morning, leaving the driver injured.

The crash happened at approximately 1 a.m. on Hubbard Road at the intersection with North Garland Avenue.

The driver was examined on scene by EMS before being taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

The car was severely damaged and was towed away. The level of damage to the house is currently unclear.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
