“KPop Demon Hunters” fever is gripping New York, with the stars of the wildly popular animated Netflix film lighting up the Empire State Building on Friday.

The movie, which premiered on Netflix in June, quickly became a blockbuster hit around the world, with the streaming giant now releasing a sing-along version in Big Apple theaters this weekend. 7

The film — which boasts a chart-topping soundtrack — follows K-pop band Huntr/x who moonlight as demon hunters to protect their fans from supernatural danger.

Throughout the movie, Huntr/x is tasked with trying to stop the popular K-pop boy band, the Saja Boys, from stealing the souls of their fans. 7
