MIDDLEBURG, Fla. — A dispute over dogs led to a shooting in a Clay County neighborhood Friday morning, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said at approximately 7 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to the 5600 block of Bee Hive Road after receiving a call that a neighbor was shooting at the caller's home.

When deputies arrived, CCSO said they immediately took 54-year-old Sherry Garrison into custody.

The sheriff's office said Garrison "resisted deputies' efforts to take her into custody and fought with them during her arrest."

CCSO said its investigation revealed that a dispute between Garrison and one of the victims turned physical when Garrison pushed one of them.

Afterward, CCSO said Garrison walked back towards her home, while one of the victims warned
