A New Orleans Saints offensive line that has already been beset by injuries this month may have suffered another blow in Saturday’s preseason finale against the Denver Broncos.
Landon Young, who filled in as the team’s starting right tackle for regular starter Taliese Fuaga (knee) , had to be carted off the field in the second quarter. It is not yet clear what Young’s injury is, though he appeared to grab his knee when he went down.
Young was likely going to serve as the Saints’ swing tackle this season, serving as the primary backup at both offensive tackle spots. If his injury requires a lengthy recovery, the Saints could suddenly be in the market for a new player in that role.
