Chiefs fans packed Arrowhead Stadium’s parking lots Friday for the team’s only home preseason game, firing up grills, sharing family traditions and showing excitement for the season ahead.

For some, like Spencer, it was a first trip to Arrowhead.
“Just the loudness. I've heard all the stories about how loud it gets in there, and I can't wait to experience it,” he said.
Others brought eye-catching rides, like a Chiefs-themed Jeep that drew shouts from passersby.
Fans shared their hopes for the season, from Travis Kelce playing his heart out to the return of the long ball. One even suggested Taylor Swift for a halftime show.
