CLEVELAND, Ohio - Kenston defeated Solon, 30-13, at Kenston Bomber Stadium in Friday night’s season opener for both teams.

The Comets had been ranked 16th in the cleveland.com preseason Top 25. The Bombers were unranked.

Kenston took advantage as senior quarterback Jack Bryner found his sophomore running back Ethan Burge for the touchdown to open the scoring 7-0 in the first quarter.
