Alon Michaeli has signed to join the University of Colorado men's basketball team for the 2025-26 season.

Michaeli is a 6-foot-9, 229-pound power forward from Kfar Saba, Israel, who spent the 2024-25 season playing for Bnei Hertzeliya in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, regarded as the top league in the country.

He played 22 games for Bnei Hertzeliya, shooting 51 percent from the field in just over eight minutes per game, having turned 19-years-old during the early part of the season.

Michaeli moved up to Bnei Hertzeliya following a standout 2023-24 season with Elitzur Maccabi Netanya in Israel's Second Division. He averaged 10.5 points and a team-best 5.1 rebounds over 30 games, earning the Rising Star Award.
