CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Shedeur Sanders' final bid for a Browns roster spot didn’t go well Saturday.
Sanders played the entire 2nd half against the Rams, going 3 of 6 for just 14 yards. He was sacked 5 times and pressured often behind a backup offensive line.
Cleveland won the game 19-17 on a last-second field goal by Andre Szmyt.
The roster must be cut to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET Tuesday.
Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel both played well in the first half.
Kenny Pickett did not play.
The Browns season opener is Sept. 7 vs Cincinnati.
Flacco has already been named the starter.
Adin Huntington, an undrafted rookie from Tulane, was the Browns best player with 5 tackles (2 TFL) and 1.5 sacks.
