The Detroit Tigers continue their three-game weekend series against the Kansas City Royals under the lights on Saturday.

The two divisional rivals met in a rather high-scoring affair in the first game of the series on Friday night. The Royals struck first with three runs in the third inning. However, the Tigers roared back with seven unanswered, including posting a four-spot in the seventh inning. While the Royals tried to make a push late in the game, Detroit managed to hang on for 7-5 win, marking the team’s fourth victory in a row.
