The Detroit Lions lost one of their top special teams players to what coach Dan Campbell called a potentially "significant" injury in their preseason finale Saturday against the Houston Texans .
Linebacker Ezekiel Turner left the game early in the second half with a lower right leg injury.
Turner, who was helped off the field by trainers and taken to the locker room by a medical cart, was on crutches in the locker room after the game and told the Free Press he possibly tore his Achilles tendon.
