HOUSTON – Officials say an ambulance which was stolen from Memorial Hermann Hospital Saturday afternoon has been recovered after a police chase.
Authorities with the Houston Fire Department say medics arrived at the hospital at 1:51 p.m. and were moving a patient from the ambulance into the hospital. When they came out, the ambulance was gone. The crew informed dispatch of the missing ambulance at 2:33 p.m.
Police were able to locate the ambulance and began chasing it.
The pursuit would end at I-45 and Stuebner Airline Road at 2:53 p.m. and the ambulance was recovered.
