Kemon Spell knows all eyes will be upon him throughout the 2025 season.

So the first time he took the field the McKeesport junior and Penn State recruit put on a show.

About the only question is what does he do for an encore?

Spell took the season’s opening kickoff back 98 yards for a touchdown and finished with 13 carries for a career-high 292 yards and five total touchdowns to lead the Class 4A No. 1 Tigers (1-0) to a decisive 51-24 victory against Class 5A District II Delaware Valley (0-1) on Saturday afternoon at the Wolvarena as part of the KDKA Kickoff Classic.

And he’s not about rest at 292.

“It’s a personal best right now, but I’m looking to break that basically every week and get a new record,” Spell said. “I’m just going to continue to build.”
