An investigation is underway in Fort Lauderdale Saturday morning after a train crashed into one of three vehicles that were stopped on the tracks, police said.

According to Fort Lauderdale Police, at around 3:27 a.m., officers arrived at the 200 block of Southwest Second Street after receiving reports of a train crash.

Police said that three vehicles were on the train tracks when the train approached the railroad crossing, and then it crashed into one of the cars.

Video captured the moment when the train struck the vehicle.

The other two cars crashed into each other when they tried to get off the tracks.

As one of the drivers was trying to get out of the tracks, their vehicle struck a woman.
