KALAMAZOO, Mich. — U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) will be in Kalamazoo on Saturday as part of his "Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here" tour.

The talk is being held at the Miller Auditorium at Western Michigan University. Sanders' website said he will discuss "how we move forward to take on the Oligarchs and corporate interests who have so much power and influence" in the United States.

Sanders will be joined at the event by U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.

Doors to the event opened at 4:30 p.m. and the event will kick off with music by Rodeo Boys at 6 p.m.

According to Sanders' website, the speaking program is set to begin at 7 p.m.

There is free on-site parking available for the event.
