LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The cooler temperatures that we saw on Saturday are expected not only to continue Sunday but be even cooler.

Starting with overnight lows, we are likely to fall into the low to upper 50s.

Upper 60s to upper 70s are then expected Sunday afternoon.

Showers and storms are possible in western Nebraska overnight Saturday into Sunday morning as well. Chances are much lower further to the east, but we could see some morning rain in Lincoln. Severe weather is also very unlikely statewide.

Mainly quiet conditions are expected early in the week with rain chances picking up Wednesday night into Thursday. Below average conditions continue for the next seven days too.
