LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was killed Friday evening in a motorcycle crash in northeast Lincoln.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. near North 90th and Adams streets.

One person was killed in the crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle, according to an LPD officer at the scene.

The details of the crash are unknown at this time.

LPD said the area will be shut down as officers investigate the crash.

It’s the second fatal motorcycle crash in Lincoln in the last 24 hours. A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night near 48th Street and Leighton Avenue .
