AUGUSTA, Ga (WJBF) - A local non-profit teaming up with local businesses to raise money for cancer research.

Happy2Help beer is benefiting the non-profit Paceline in partnership with the Savannah River Brewing Co. with a beer that launched Saturday.

Paceline is a peer-to-peer fundraiser that raises money for cancer research.

Every year they host a community fundraising event called PaceDay where participants will run, walk or ride.

“It’s about wellness, it's about healing, it’s also meant to mimic and imitate something difficult like getting cancer treatments like infusions. Sometimes the rides or the walks are kind of long so the exercise and the prep for that is very similar to the prevention that you go through in trying to treat and prevent cancer,” said Ian Mercier, President and
