The magical run in the Little League World Series came to an end for Fairfield National on Saturday.

They fell to Summerlin South Little League from Las Vegas, Nevada in the U.S. championship game 8-2.

It's the same Nevada team they beat 7-3 on Wednesday.

Fairfield went down three runs in the first inning, something they did the first time they played Summerlin South. On Saturday, they weren't able to overcome the deficit.

The Connecticut team came into Saturday's game undefeated in the tournament.

While Nevada goes on to play Chinese Taipei in the international championship game tomorrow, Fairfield will take on Aruba in the consolation game.
