ARMSTRONG COUNTY —

A 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after he was pulled out of the Kiski River in Armstrong County Saturday afternoon.

Our news partners at the Trib reported that first responders were called around 2:45 p.m. to the Roaring Run trailhead off of Canal Road following reports of a child being pulled from the Kiski River. Advertisement

Kiski Township Patrolman Colton Howard told the Trib that it's unclear how long the boy was in the water before police arrived.

Howard said CPR was already in progress as additional first responders arrived on scene.

The boy was taken to Forbes Hospital by Oklahoma-Vandergrift Ambulance. His condition is not known at this time, the Trib said.
