BUCKSPORT -- A motor vehicle crash in Bucksport shut down Route 46 on Saturday, August 23.

In a social media post by the Orland Fire Department, they and Bucksport first responders responded to a car crash and fire at approximately 7:15 Saturday morning. They say the crash downed poles and lines, resulting in Route 46 being shut down.

According to the Bucksport Police Department, the driver, who was also the only one in the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
