The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres have one of the more bitter rivalries in all of sports, and it's been coming to a peak over the last few years.

These two teams are battling for the division title and a better seed in the National League as the postseason draws closer. Last season, the Dodgers knocked the Padres out of the postseason in a series that saw the best and the worst of each team.

Going into Saturday's contest between the two teams, they were deadlocked at the top of the standings in the NL West. A lot has happened to put the Dodgers and Padres in this position, but Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts doesn't want to spend too much time and energy looking in the rear-view mirror.
