OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person is in the hospital after a cutting near Midtown Omaha Saturday afternoon.

According to police at the scene, officers were dispatched to a home near 30th and Cass streets for a cutting just after 4:15 p.m.

At the scene, officers found an adult man with a cutting wound. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Currently, according to police, there is no threat to the public, and there is no suspect.

Officers at the scene said the Forensic Investigations Unit is investigating.
