LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The Park DuValle Community Health Centers hosted its 3 rd annual gala Saturday.

Held at the Kentucky International Convention Center, the Legacy Gala: Lights, Camera, Compassion! is a yearly gala that raises funds to support two health initiatives in Louisville.

The two health initiatives, the Dr. Harvy Sloan Patient Assistance Fund and the McKenzie Scott Endowment, provide support for those in the community who may face financial barriers when it comes to health care.

This includes providing emergency financial support for patients in need of essential medication and supporting long-term health and wellness programs.

Former mayor of Louisville and PDCHC's first executive director, Dr. Harvey Sloane, will be honored at the gala.
