ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A barrage of gunfire hit a southwest Atlanta Airbnb on Saturday morning, shattering windows and grazing a man as he slept.
Atlanta police were called to the property on 1645 Evans Drive SW at around 4:10 a.m. Raigan Bullard, who was staying in one of the building’s three apartment units with her husband, said the shots from the nearby intersection startled them awake.
The bullets struck the building and a truck parked in the front, deflating a tire and punching holes into the truckbed.
A 29-year-old man in the residence next to Bullard’s was grazed by one of the bullets, but he declined medical treatment, according to police.
Now, Bullard would like nothing more than to return home to coastal Georgia.
