LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The South Beauregard Knights are getting physical as they prepare for the 2025 football season.
“You have to know if you don’t go in there ready to go, you know you are going to get popped,” senior running back Jacob Marcantel said. “I love the physicality of it. It’s just nothing like it, you can’t beat it, everybody is fired up and everybody is in it.
Knights head coach Brad Kellogg says physicality is essential to their success.
“We’re not going to out run people, we just got to be tougher than people. We have to be physical. We have to be be in better shape. We’ve got to take advantages in some way anyway we can.”
One of those advantages is the Knight’s hurry-up offense.
We try to snap the ball every 10 seconds in the game and every 7 seconds of practice
