PASCO, Wash. – Families in Pasco had the opportunity to explore a variety of vehicles and equipment used by first responders at the Pasco Aviation Museum . The event, part of the museum’s 2nd Annual First Responders Day, aimed to honor the work of first responders.

Malin Bergstrom, a volunteer board director for the museum, explained the importance of recognizing first responders.

“I don’t know if they get enough credit for what they do,” Bergstrom said. “And so we want to make sure that they are thanked, more than just once a year, hopefully. And let the public know the importance of having first responders, nobody wants to have an emergency and not have somebody respond.”
