ROSEVILLE, Minn. — The Alexander Ramsey High School class of 1975 unearthed memories they thought were lost forever.
The class of roughly 550 students wrote a letter to themselves and buried it in a time capsule.
“The whole idea was to open it in the year 2000. We couldn’t find it. They dug and dug for two days around the campus grounds where we buried it,” said Diane Kinderwater.
Kinderwater thought her letter was lost in time.
“Well then, the school remodeled, they did renovations. They had a backhoe at the school, and they were digging around the school grounds, and they unearthed something,” she said.
It was the class of 1975’s time capsule.
“We found it,” she said. “Then when we got it, we couldn’t have it because of COVID, and now 50 years later, we are opening the class of 197
