A woman says her boyfriend's hairstylist mom cut her hair while she was asleep on the couch — without asking or warning her first.

In a post shared to Reddit , the anonymous 25-year-old writes that she has "waist-length curly hair" that she has been growing out for eight years.

Recently, she and her boyfriend went to visit his parents for the weekend.

"His mom is a retired hairstylist and has always made comments about how I 'would look more professional' with shorter hair," she writes.
