Geddes, N.Y. — On the hottest day of the New York State Fair so far, the crowds poured in, making Saturday the busiest day of the 2025 fair to date.
Attendance for Day 4 reached 88,060, according to fair officials. That’s about 4,800 more than last year’s first Saturday.
That turnout is on par with the Day 4 average of just over 83,000 in recent years, though still below the pre-pandemic Saturdays when crowds routinely topped 100,000.
Sunny skies and soaring temperatures didn’t slow the fun. Young fans sang and danced at Kidz Bop Live in the afternoon, while O.A.R. drew about 25,000 fans to Suburban Park for a long, high-energy set that capped off the evening.
On Sunday, the fun continues. Fairgoers can check out pickle ball and roller derby at the Sports Activity Center. Day five
