SALT LAKE CITY – Real Salt Lake forward Victor Olatunji scored his first goal in the claret-and-cobalt to equalize in the first half against the Minnesota United FC.
Off a perfectly-placed cross from Samuel Junqua, Olatunji found the bottom right corner from close range to make the score 1-1.
He nearly made it a first-half brace shortly after. In the 23rd minute, he put another attempt on frame, but Minnesota’s goalkeeper was able to make the save.
Olatunji made his first appearance with the club last week against Charlotte. He quickly got to work with a shot on goal in that match as well.
Real Salt Lake acquired Olatunji from Sparta Prague in the Czech League on Wednesday, August 6. He is on contract through June 2028.
