CHESTER – The Philadelphia Union’s goalscoring touch has tended to fade in the summer heat. Saturday, Milan Iloski led a revival.
Iloski and Kai Wagner each had a goal and an assist as the Union routed Chicago, 4-0, to jump back to the top of the Eastern Conference.
Tai Baribo opened the scoring in the 25th minute off a Wagner feed. Wagner made it 2-0 in the 64th to quell a period of Fire ascendancy, then Danley Jean Jacques tallied his first league goal in four months in the 73rd before Iloski, who was excellent all day, finished it in the 80th.
