In 1993, 19-year-old South Carolinian Kerry Bateman had just completed her second Dragon Con in Atlanta and heard about a new Eternal lifetime membership program for $250.
“I took every penny I had to my name and became one of the first people to become an Eternal,” Bateman said. “I knew it was worth investing in. I loved the people so much. I had a good feeling about it.”
It wasn’t quite like buying Apple Computer stock in 1980 , but for Bateman, the $250 investment has paid off in priceless memories and friendships.
