Saturday was declared The War and Treaty Day in Albion, moments before the group — country-gospel husband and wife duo Michael and Tanya Trotter — kicked off their long-awaited homecoming concert in front of about 1,000 fans, friends and community members on a large stage at the end of a blocked off street in the closely knit south-central Michigan city's downtown.
Then, just minutes into the group's show, a rainstorm swept through the area and knocked out power to the stage, sending fans and the band members scurrying for cover. An hour later, the show restarted, only to have the power to the stage blow once again, just minutes into the performance.
